The kids do the challenges, while you hike with them. This way hiking won\u2019t get boring for the kids, because they do the challenges. <\/span><b>How do i know the kids won\u2019t get bored, because i did it myself<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">After you have parked you go to the Ski lift you can take up there. You buy the tickets downstairs and to get to the<\/span><b> Cityxpress ski lift you go up the stairs and go right<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">While you\u2019re in the ski lift you can look at the nice green mountains and trees. When you\u2019re on the mountain you have to follow the<\/span><b> orange signs to get to the area<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> Before you start following the orange signs you should get a<\/span><b> adventure pass for your child<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">. This adventure pass is useful, because <\/span><b>they can fill in the answers to the questions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> and at the <\/span><b>end they can trade it in for a certificate<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">. You can put the map of Schmidolin\u2019s Baptism of Fire or the adventure pass on the orange cord. You can get a <\/span><b>orange cord at the ticket desk or at the table where you can get the adventure pass<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">Now you are ready to up the mountain! The walk to start the journey takes a while, but you can spend the time looking at nice red, purple and yellow flowers. When you see short zip line there is a set of recommendations at the opposite end.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">These<\/span><b> recommendation<\/b><b>s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> \u00a0are:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>That children 6 years and higher should take part<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">, because some stations might be too difficult for the younger children.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">The stations are made that children 6 years and higher<\/span><b> are able to do the stations by themselves<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">. Nevertheless, <\/span><b>kids can\u2019t follow the trail without adult supervision<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>That you wear sturdy shoes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">, because some of the stations are off the gravel path.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Not to bring prams or pushchairs with you<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">, because some parts of \u00a0the trail are not suitable for them<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>That you read the signs before doing the stations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">, because they give information on how to do the station.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>To not leave rubbish lying around the place<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">.You can put it in a trash can when you\u2019re back in Zell am See.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>These are the official rules<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">, but i have a slightly different opinion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>This is my opinion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>In my opinion children older than 10 should not come along<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">, because it will most likely be pretty easy for them. I wouldn\u2019t it even call it challenging. The only stations that are hard on the trail was <\/span><b>The Firewire<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> and <\/span><b>Schmidolin\u2019s Smithy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">. I\u2019m not saying it would be boring, but it wouldn\u2019t give them the full experience, <\/span><b>since the stations might not be challenging<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Wearing sturdy shoes is in my opinion not really needed. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">I weared sandals and i was completely fine. The only problem might be that when you\u2019re going down a hill you might slide and fall.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reading the signs is also not really needed<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">, because you can see what you have to do by looking at the station. The sign does give information for the story and has a question on it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Important notes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">Adults are not aloud to do the stations unless, it says on the signs or you are helping your child. Adults can also do the zip line at the beginning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">You can take the Cityxpress ski lift to Schmidolin\u2019s Baptism of Fire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">Halfway through the stations there is a place you can eat called Schmidolin\u2019s Rast.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">Next to <\/span><b>Schmidolin\u2019s Rast if you go down the mountain<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> there is a toilet in the <\/span><b>blue container<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">You can only go to Schmidolin\u2019s Baptism of Fire in the<\/span><b> summer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Want something fun to do while you\u2019re in Zell am See or in the surrounding area with kids?
