These are some of Ancient Greek gods: Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, Persephone, Athena, Hestia and Ares. Worshiping the gods was an important part of Ancient Greek life.

In Athens women got married around fifteen and men got married around thirty. In wealthy families the marriages were arranged. But in the poor families they would be able to meet men or women at work and become friends. Boys went to school at age seven. If you were a wealthy person you could learn writing, dancing, and poetry. In an Ancient Greek home there would be an altar with fire inside and the girls would have to keep the fire lit always.

In Sparta, boys had to go in the wilderness to military school at age seven.  All men had to eat at the barracks even the king. Spartans wanted less family life and more state loyalty.
