Hercules, also known as Heracles, is an important hero of Greek Mythology. He was the strongest man on earth, but he had a bad temper. He was mostly known for his twelve labors that he had to perform for King Eurystheus. This is one of Hercules’ labors.  His first labor was to get the skin of the Nemian lion. The Nemian lion’s skin was not pierce able by any weapon, so Hercules strangled the lion with his arms. The only way to get the skin of the lion was to use the lions own claws to pierce through the skin. When he brought the lion back to King Eurystheus he got scared, because of the dead lion. When Hercules’ labors were done he went to his girlfriend and later got killed by an evil man. After his death Zeus made him a full god on Mount Olympos.
